This Smallmouth Bass is about 3 to 4lbs caught in June. I have had a Smallmouth that weighed more than 5lbs in my boat on the Stanislaus River. Largemouth are common also with a surprise from a Striper that you did not notice until it hit. Great bass fishing available on a river trip down the river with casting platform and plenty of room to fight your fish. These fish are used to river currents and use it to thier advantage.
